Secrets AI Review (2026): The Best Memory We Tested, 20 Free Messages a Day

Verdict: Pick Secrets if you want a companion who actually remembers you. Twenty free messages a day is enough to know; the yearly Premium plan ($9.17 a month) removes the limit.
Signing up
An age check ("Yes, I am 18+"), then username, email, password and a Cloudflare check. Secrets makes you verify your email before chatting; the link landed in our spam folder and is only valid for 10 minutes. Verifying added 200 free Moments, and a notification prompt offered 25 more. No card. About eight minutes from landing to the first reply, mostly spent finding that email. Note that it refused one of our email domains as invalid, so use a mainstream address.
How much you get for free
Twenty messages, then a hard wall: "Daily Limit Reached! You've reached 20 daily messages" with a countdown to the reset. The 200 Moments are enough for about four pictures (50 each). Free accounts can't top up Moments, so beyond those, pictures, video and custom characters need a plan.

Chat quality and memory
We chatted with the most popular companion, a 24-year-old stylist. Replies come as two or three short bubbles, usually within a few seconds, which feels more like texting than the novel-style apps.
Hey Sam, nice to meet you. Long days deserve a proper wind-down — you've earned it. What kind of work keeps you so busy?
Five messages in, we asked for our name and what we'd told her:
You're Sam, project manager at a logistics company — and your boss unfairly blamed you for two trucks breaking down today. I remember everything, it's kind of my thing.
The most complete answer in our test, and later she also brought up our lasagna and our cat's name. Mild romance went through without a filter. She does nudge toward paid pictures: one reply ended with an offer to send a photo for 50 Moments.

Billing and privacy
Card or crypto (300+ coins, $20 minimum), and the store says plainly that you're "billed discreetly as S LABS INC", something only Candy AI also does among the apps we looked at. Cancellation is self-serve and you keep access to the end of the period. The company is Secret Labs Inc. in Delaware. There's no app-store app; install it from the browser.
